May 7, 2007- Anne Via Zakielarz

Anne's Success:
Anne began to tweak her lifestyle and diet a little at a time, and found time for herself by replacing old habits with new ones.  She did this while running 2 businesses and raising a family.  At her heaviest she was 265 pounds.  During the next four years she lost more than a hundred pounds by choosing healthy ways to get fit that she could maintain as a lifestyle, instead of turning to diets and programs that seemed like a gimmick.  Through Anne’s journey she has learned that small steady attainable goals are what work best for her.  In the following 4 years she maintained her success by continually setting new goals, eating 6 times a day, building a support system of friends that share her new passion for fitness and choosing things she enjoys.  She is now training for a body building contest.

May 14, 2007- Rebecca Staton-Reinstein

Rebecca's Success:
Rebecca learned that it is never too old to change your life and regain your health.  After a health scare at 65 she started making specific exercise appointments for herself and putting them into her calendar.  She discovered how important it was to find exercise that she enjoyed rather than forcing herself to do things she didn’t like.  And she’s learned how to eat on the road. She seldom has a problem and can almost always find something healthy and nutritious to eat.  If not she has a backup.  She always carries some healthy things with her just in case she should get stranded.

Rebecca states, “perhaps the most important thing is that, like every thing else, the real 'problem' was always between my ears.  When I realized that my habits were making me sick and that I was getting too old to bounce back quickly, I was ready to face reality, do what I had to do and also work on my emotional health so that I was in a better space mentally about caring about myself.”  Now she is healthy, fit, energetic and looks 20 years younger.

May 21, 2007- Mary Jane Medlock and Linda Spangle

Mary Jane Medlock

Mary Jane Medlock story begins when she gained 180 pounds in 15 months sending her into a severe depression. At over 320 pounds she found herself dealing with morbid obesity. She tried every diet from drugs to weight loss clinics to fad diets with no success.  What finally worked was a combination of changing her way of thinking, living and eating.  She didn’t use diet pills or have stomach surgery. Instead she made a commitment to working with herself and addressing her emotional eating issues, and she also found a meal replacement program that worked for her.  But she says, “It wasn’t the products.  There isn’t any magic diet, pills, product or programs out there that will work unless you are willing to put the effort into it.” Her amazing success and tips have been featured in Woman's World Magazine, Good Housekeeping Magazine, (Aug 2001-present), National Advertising Campaign,  IVilliage, FOX News, Lifetime Television, Discovery Channel, the Montel Williams Show and numerous TV Commercials and Infomercial's.

Mary Jane gained a new passion from her experience and started Get Healthy My Way.  Today she is a certified aerobics instructor and weight loss coach helping thousands of people, and she offers on line support at Get Healthy My Way.
