Our guests are Donna Liu and Dr. Alan Rubin
Donna Liu was diagnosed with a thyroid disease and eventually began exercising and eating healthier to feel better.  This decision changed her household’s lifestyle, and now she, her husband and their sons enjoy being active together and the benefits of feeling great.  She now longer suffers the symptoms that led her to see Dr. Rubin initially.
Dr Rubin is her physician who believes healthy lifestyle habits can be more effective than medications.  He strongly encourages his patients to create healthier and more positive choices as a part of his treatment and patient guidance.

Overcoming an Obsession to be Thin
This show has been rescheduled to March.

Our guest is Barb Gau

Barb Gau was once obsessed with being a certain weight and risked her health to attain it.  Once she began treating her body and herself with more love and respect, she found many different ways to be healthy and lose weight that felt liberating.  Barb has learned many lessons in the 29 years that she has chosen to live a healthy lifestyle, including how to avoid and overcome injuries from overuse and overtraining.  She also learned how to make adjustments when she began to put on some extra weight during a difficult period in her life that coincided with perimenopausal changes.

You are Never Too Old to be a Spunky Old Broad

Our guest is Gayle Carson

Gayle Carson is a three-time cancer survivor and refused to succumb to the belief that she was too ill to take the best possible care of herself.  She has proven time and again that it is not only possible but worth the determination to get and stay in shape.  She made this a priority within her incredibly busy business career where she reached the highest level of achievement in the consulting and speaking industries.  She still runs several businesses and today she turns 69.  She shares her birthday with us in celebration of her success and of the virtues of a healthy lifestyle.  She calls herself a Spunky Old Broad and she is living proof that you are never too old to get moving.

Finding a Way to Recover from the Lows of MS

Our guest is Margot Murray

Margot Murray was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) twenty years ago, but she was determined not to end up in a wheelchair.  Thirteen years later, that is just where she ended up.  At that point she took it upon herself to get better.  She pursued health alternatives to help her body heal and ward off the ravages of the disease.  She took up yoga, Qi Gong, meditation and began receiving acupuncture, reiki and natural product treatments.  Recently she started going to Curves and swimming regularly to recover her lost muscle strength.  Today she feels great and lives a normal life.
