Understand the different types of stress
and how you can recognize the symptoms and
causes of stress.
Amy and Alice will kick off the show with a discussion of how acute and chronic stress are different, and that chronic stress is more prevalent in people’s lives today than they relieve. They will describe symptoms to look for and causes to be aware of, so that you can identify how high your stress levels really are. This is important, because if you don’t think you are all that stressed, you will be less likely to address it or realize that your symptoms are caused by your stress.

New Perspectives
Discover new ways to look at stress and what triggers it, and what are ways to change beliefs and self neglect to be aligned to core values in order to reduce stress and feel more in control.
Amy and Alice will discuss
emotional causes of stress that are common
among women, particularly the lack of self
care, the striving to do it all and be perfect,
the beliefs of imperfection, inadequacy,
and failure, and the inevitable negative
self talk and self sabotage that result
in repressed emotions. Stress is a
red flag of self neglect and repressed feelings,
and these can be changed when you identify
what is really important and focus on these
core values as a means of doing what best
serves your needs.
